iKON New Kids: The Final Unboxing

iKON New Kids The Final

My copies of the new iKON album finally arrived in my mailbox a few days ago, which means we have a new album post today! iKON New Kids: The Final is the last part of the iKON New Kids series that has come out over the course of 2018. Well, at least I hope it is. If they had another one, it would have to be called The Sequel or The Apocalypse or something…. 아무튼…

I did pre-order copies of this album off of Choice Music. They have a set of bother versions for $36.99 plus shipping and handling here. You can also purchase just one copy of the album off of Choice for $18.99 plus shipping here. Off of Amazon, the 2 version set is running for about 50 dollars with free shipping as a Prime member here. You cal also buy one version for $26 here, also with free shipping.

If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you can get a 30 day free trial using this link here. I will not lie, the free 2 day shipping, plus all of the free music and videos are totally worth it. I also now use it for books for my Kindle paper white too, and it is honestly a life saver. They have a program called Kindle Unlimited where you can check out 10 books at a time, read them, and put them back in the kindle library. The program cost $7.99 a month, and you get the first 30 days for free with this link.

Things to know about iKON New Kids: The Final:

  • There are 2 versions of the album:
  • Things that come with  the album:
    • CD
    • 72 page photobook (it looks like 72, at least)
    • Stickers
    • Member photocard
    • Small poster
  • Since I am a small child in a blond adult’s body, I must say that I am enthralled that they included stickers. Who doesn’t love those!
  • It’s nice that they also include the poster as well, even if it is small, at no extra cost.
  • As for the photo books, the members only have one outfit in each photobook, so if you were to only buy one, just check which outfits you like better.
  • The photobook are quite simple, in general.

K-Points: 79/5

Although I really love how the albums are black and red, I feel a little bit like they were thrown together in a bit of a rush because they are too similar to the first part of the series, Return (Unboxing here and review here). On top of that, the photos in the photobook are all really similar. Don’t get me wring, I do still really like it, but I feel like they have done this before.

Should you buy a copy of this album? If you really like stickers, or are a serious iKON fan, go for it! Which version should you get? 100% up to you. I personally like the RedOut version, but red is my favorite color, so I very biased. Can you just stream the album instead? Absolutely. There are only 4 songs on the album, so it is pretty pricey for what you are getting.

Which version do you like better K-Nuggets? Let me know in the comments below!
