Every single time a new month rolls around, I get really excited. That means that my subscriptions will start coming again! On Friday, my FACEtory September SEVEN-Lux Box arrived, and I am so excited to share it with you all.
If you do not know what FACEtory is, it is a face mask subscription service created by women in California who just LOVE sheet masks. They offer 2 packages:
- FOUR-Ever Fresh
- SEVEN-Lux
As you can probably guess, the Four-Ever Fresh box is has 4 sheet masks for you to try every month, and the Seven-Lux box has 7 in it. I personally get the 7 face mask box, as I can usually burn through about 20 sheet masks in a month, so 4 is far too few for my sheet mask loving face. I will try any and all sheet masks, as I have found it very rare to find ones I don’t like. They’re a fast and easy way to pamper yourself. Face Masks you get:
FACEtory Woah that H2O
- This is a 2 step mask, created by the FACEtory team, that included an ampoule and a sheetmask
- Key Ingredients:
- Jasmine Flower Extract which protects and moisturizes the skin
- Ceramide which hydrates and strengthens the skin’s barrier
- Sodium Hyluronate which provides moisture to dry skin
MerBliss Intense Soothing Mask, Nurse Healing
- This mask soothes and heals irritations
- Key Ingredients:
- Rosemary Leaf Extract which is full of antioxidants that protect the skin from damage
- Peppermint Leaf Extract that has menthol to heal and sooth the skin
BetterSkin Volcanic Ash Detoxifying Sheet Mask
- Bio-Cellulose mask that uses volcanic ash from Jeju
- Key Ingredients:
- Volcanic Ash that treats irritation, heals blemishes and acne
- Camellia Japonica Seed Oil which is an antioxidant that moisturizes the skin
- Hordeum Vulgare Extract which protects the skin’s barrier, making it look radiant, soft, and healthy
Hello Skin Jurniso Hydration Mask
- Hydration sheet mask (This brand has come in FACEtory before)
- Key Ingredients:
- Aloe Extract which hydrates, conditions, and detoxifies the skin
- Ceramide which hydrates and strengthens the skin’s barrier
Nada The Yellow Sheet Mask
- This mask is supposed to put you in a better mood and give your skin a quick pick me up
- Key Ingredients:
- Ginger Extract which fights aging, evens skin tone, and promotes elasticity (It is also excellent for gut health… fun fact!)
- Schizandra Berry Extract which is full of Vitamin C and E that locks in moisture, brightens skin, and is a natural astringent
Inner Kallia Cream Mask Pack
- This is a brightening mask on a microfiber sheet which helps the essence deeply penetrate into the skin
- Key ingredients:
- Swiftlet Nest Extract which cools and moisturizes the skin
- Niacinamide which helps reduce fine lines, pores, and restores the skin’s surface
23 Years Old Sitra Dermaseal Mask
- I’m pretty sure that I’ve used this mask before, but I don’t remember what I thought of it.
- This mask is made out of egg membrane (weird right) and is to help treat and moisturize the skin
- Key Ingredients:
- Sea Buckthorn Oil which heals and rejuvenates skin
- Licorice Extract which evens the skin tone and balances the oils in your skin
- Coptis Japonica Root Extract is an antioxidant that calm and hydrates skin. It also has anti-inflammatory properties
Final Thoughts:
At this point, I know I have tried at least on of the masks in this box, as well as other masks from the one brand. Although, they weren’t ones that I repurchased. That isn’t a bad thing, as most likely it was because I forgot to write down the name of it to find it online. Overall, FACEtory always sends very high quality brands for all their masks. The FACEtory September Seven-Lux box is no exception
I am very satisfied with the masks in here. I think the ingredients were tailored to the fact that we are moving into cooler weather, and I think that is wonderful. Heck, while I am writing this post, the temperature is almost in the fifties! It’s wonderful, as a few days earlier it was in the nineties!
If you are just getting into K-Beauty, and are completely intimidated by the saturation of the market with sheet masks, this is an excellent place to start. They do all the work for you! I honestly haven’t found one that I don’t like yet from them! Here’s a link if you want to try it out.
